FPG and Engagious are conducting a series of swing voter focus groups in key battleground counties across the U.S. The series kicked off March 11th in Appleton, with the latest study taking place once again in Appleton, WI on September 16.
Each study location is chosen because it is in a U.S. county that had a disproportionately high number of swing voters who shifted their support from the nominee of one party to the other between the presidential elections of 2012 and 2016. Voters selected to participate in the groups consist of those who voted for Barack Obama in the 2012 election and then voted for Donald Trump in 2016, and those who voted for Mitt Romney in 2012 and then voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
